Step 1. Prior to sanding, wash vehicle thoroughly with hot soap and water, and rinse well.

 

Step 2.

Wipe down the vehicle with a degreaser solvent and wipe dry using clean lint free cloths or special paper towels.

This will avoid grinding waxes and grease into body metal while sanding.

Step 3. Scuff target surfaces using recommended grit sizes according to the needs.
